Data Analyst

Primary Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, your role will involve:

• Working on projects from briefs and requirements
• Pull data from internal and external sources and do hands on analysis with statistical modelling tools
• Basic querying of SQL database
• Working with a variety of Trading and Back office system within the financial services
• Utilising MS Excel up to an advanced level with Macros
• Presenting findings to management
• Assist in the management of both internal & external stakeholders

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Windows and generally computer literate
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to write basic SQL queries to pull data
• Ability to use initiative to source data required to meet project briefs
• Confident and a quick learner

Other Duties

• Assisting as and where required across the business within the capabilities of the individual
• Quality Assurance
• Helpdesk Level 1 duties
• Remote Client Training
